PARTNER MASSAGE & SUPPORT TRAINING FOR LABOUR

In this session, we empower both the birthing mother and their support person through the use of massage techniques. These techniques are a non-pharmacological approach to reducing pain and anxiety.

DRY NEEDLING

Dry needling is a procedure where a fine needle is inserted into the skin and muscle to release tension, tightness and pain from knots and pressure points in muscles. It’s great for anyone experiencing tight, knotted muscles.

POSTPARTUM

Postpartum massage is designed to assist a birthing mother recovering from pregnancy and birth by helping to relax muscles and tendons that have been in ‘over drive’ during the pregnancy. Regular postpartum massages can help to reduce the likelihood of getting mastitis and increase breast milk production by producing oxytocin hormone.

INFANT MASSAGE CLASSES

We teach you how to soothe & relax your baby through massage. We show you specialised, gentle techniques that promote physical, mental & emotional development. You will also learn ways to help relieve your baby’s colic. reflux and constipation.

REMEDIAL

Our Qualified Remedial Massage Therapists treat the cause of the pain (not just the symptom!) by performing systematic assessments and treatment of the muscles, tendons, ligaments, and connective tissues of the body. This assists with rehabilitation, pain, and injury management.

LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE MASSAGE

A lymphatic drainage massage is a gentle, rhythmical massage treatment that encourages the movement of lymph fluids around the body to remove waste and toxins from the bodily tissues. It’s great for reducing swelling during pregnancy! It’s also great in the winter seasons to boost the immune system, and in the warmer season to fight allergies.
